Orientation & Transition Programs

New Student Orientation

In order to meet the needs of our incoming students, we have several orientation options available. Prior to the start of each semester, we'll offer comprehensive orientation programs for you to get acquainted with the services and resources that will help you transition smoothly to Eastern Michigan University. Will you be a freshman starting classes in Fall 2014? Your Orientation experience is a two part program: Fast Track and First Four.  Part A will be Fast Track, a one-day campus program that you will schedule between March and July 2014. Part B is First Four, dynamic four-day program designed for new EMU students to help show you the ins and outs of college life at Eastern Michigan University.  Click here to learn more about your two part experience.

First Four for Fall 2014 will be August 30 - September 2, 2014.

Being a New Student Orientation Assistant (NSOA) is a great way to start the fall semester, gain an incredible leadership experience, and learn more about our campus. NSOAs are upperclass students who've been there and done that, and are volunteering to spread their wealth of EMU knowledge to EMU's newest, our first year students.
